About our mission
In 2024, 1,751 intimate partner violence cases were reported in Detroit's 5th & 7th Precincts - within our neighborhoods. These aren't just numbers, they represent women, men, and families trapped in fear, searching for a way out.
Through our Domestic Violence Advocacy Program, we walk survivors toward safety, dignity, and hope. Federal funding cuts have halted services that survivors depend on.
Together for Safety” is Jefferson East, Inc.’s urgent initiative to restore full-time Domestic Violence Advocates within our precincts. Your gift helps to bring them back.
Our goal: raise $125,000 to fully fund two embedded precinct advocates and ensure no survivor walks alone.
